UVV / Service on Site

The foundation of UVV builds on the BGG 934, following a summary of an excerpt:

In section 3, paragraph 3 and 10 of the operational safety regulations, states that the testing of work equipment including centrifuges will be regulated.

The following tests on centrifuges should be carried out exclusively by authorized persons.
  • Test before the initial start-up operation
  • Recurrent testing e.g:
    • in service / in operation testing
    • testing in disassembled status
1. In service / in operation testing:

The contractor is responsible for having operational safety checks carried out on the centrifuges at least once a year. Primarily, this covers the status of:
  • Prefabricated parts
  • completeness
  • the correlation between the technical data and the manufacturer's data
  • the completeness of test book
  • the test run
  • the rotation speed control
  • the imbalance sensor
2. Testing in disassembled status:

The contractor is responsible for having centrifuges tested for operational safety. The centrifuges will be tested as needed, but within at least every three years. The testing should exclusively cover the following points:
  • housing (stability, condition, corrosion, wear and tear, etc...)
  • foundation
  • propulsion ( electric motor or hydraulic drive)
  • drum shaft (drum seat, mounting, bearing seat, joints and gaskets, etc..)
  • drum ( drum body, welding seams, seat, drum head locking device ect..)
  • electrical and hydraulic equipment
  • test run after assembly
We carry out the necessary work with our authorised service technicians on site at your plant or at our shop. The UVV will be responsibly carried out, marked, and documented in the centrifuge book by us.
